Abstract

The occurence and amount of total alkaloids and scopolamine in different parts of Datura ferox coming from different regions of Argentina have been investigated. The alkaloid content ranged from 0.02 to 0.52 g of total alkaloids and 0.0029 to 0.32 g of scopolamine per 100 g of dried material.
