Abstract
Sugar-bound regular Monoterpenes, Thymol– and Carvacrolglucoside and -galactoside,
have been found for the first time in Lamiaceaespecies Thymus vulgaris. The possible
role of Monoterpeneglycosides for the process of accumulation of essential oils is
discussed.
Zusammenfassung
Es wird erstmals das Vorkommen von an Zucker gebundenen, regulären Monoterpenen in
der Familie der Lamiaceae beschrieben. Aus Frischpflanzen wie auch aus der Droge von
Thymus vulgaris L. wurden Thymol– und Carvacrolglucosid und –galactosid isoliert.
Es gibt Hinweise auf weitere Monoterpenglykoside.
