Abstract
The seeds of A. exalatum yielded the indole alkaloids O–demethyl palosine, demethoxy
palosine, demethoxy aspidospermine, aspidospermidine, limaspermine, fendlerine and
two members of the series of the 21–oxoaspidoalbidine. No β-carbolinic type alkaloids
were isolated, as compared to an earlier work on the trunk bark of the same plant.
