Abstract
The leaves of Jatropha cur cas L. were phytochemically investigated. Stigmasterol
and β-sitosterol were isolated from the light petroleum extract. A new dimer of a
triterpene alcohol C

was isolated from the ether extract. Two new flavonoidal glycosides were isolated
from the alcoholic extract, their structures were elucidated.
