Abstract
Urinary dopamine (DA), norepinephrine (NE) and epinephrine (E) were estimated in obese women treated by a low calorie intake combined with exercise or by diet alone. The combined regime led to an enhanced NE excretion, while the excretion of E remained unchanged. Diet alone stimulated the exeretion of E; NE excretion was not influenced. The tendency to a raised DA output was not significant.
