Zusammenfassung
Es wird über die Behandlungsergebnisse bei Neuralgien im 2. Trigeminusast und bei
Pterygopalatinum-Neuralgie mit einer Infiltrationsmethode vom Gaumen aus berichtet.
Die Autoren verwenden eine gemeinsame Blockade des Nervus maxillaris und Ganglion
pterygopalatinum durch eine Novokain-Testblockade und eine Sevenal-(Phenobarbiturat)-Infiltration.
In knapp der Hälfte der neuralgiformen Beschwerden ließ sich mit diesem Verfahren
Schmerzfreiheit erzielen. Nach dieser, gegebenenfalls leicht zu wiederholenden Blockade,
traten keine Komplikationen auf. Die Anwendung dieser Methode lohnt sich auf Grund
der Einfachheit und Ungefährlichkeit ihrer Durchführung.
Summary
A method of infiltration through the palate has been used in the treatment of second
division trigeminal neuralgia and spheno-palatine (Sluders) neuralgia and the results
of treatment are reported.
The authors use a combined block of the maxillary nerve and the spheno-palatine ganglion
first with a test dose of procaine followed by infiltration with phenobarbital. In
a half of the suffers from neuralgia freedom from pain is achieved by this procedure.
We have had no complications after this simple and, if necessary, easily repeated
procedure. This method commends itself on the grounds of its simplicity and freedom
from danger.

Compte rendu des résultats du traitement de la névralgie trigéminale de la 2ème branche
et de la névralgie ptérygo-palatine selon une méthode d'infiltration par voie palatine.
Les auteurs déterminent un blocage simultané du nerf maxillaire supérieur et du ganglion
ptérygopalatin, blocage-test à la novocaïne, suivi d'une infiltration au phénobarbital.
Dans presque la moitié des cas de ces névralgies on obtient une sédation des douleurs
par ce procédé. Ce blocage, éventuellement répété à plusieurs reprises, n'est suivi
d'aucune complication. Ce procédé se recommande par sa simplicité autant que par son
innocuité.

Se informa acerca de los resultados del tratamiento de neuralgias del segundo par
del trigémino y del ptérigopalatino con el método de infiltración palatina. Los autores
utilizan un bloqueo conjunto del nervio maxilar y ganglio ptérigopalatino por medio
de un bloqueo test con novocaína y una infiltración con Sevenal (Fenobarbital). Casi
en la mitad de las afecciones de tipo neurálgico se consigue por este procedimiento
una liberación del dolor. Después de este bloqueo, fácil de repetir, no se produjeron
complicaciones. Merece la pena la utilización de este método a causa de la sencillez
e inofensividad de su aplicación.
