Preparative Method for the Isolation of C-peptides from Ox and Pork Pancreas

Abstract
The C-peptide, which is the proinsulin connecting peptide minus the two terminal basic dipeptides, has been isolated from extracts of ox and pork pancreas.
The peptides were obtained in a very pure state using only a few, preparative purification steps.
