Abstract

A simple, accurate, co-precipitation radioimmunoassay for the detection of anti-thyroglobulin antibodies is described. This semi automated technique allows the determination of the three classes of antibodies; it compares favorably with the tanned red cell hem agglutination test. Its clinical relevance is illustrated in the investigation of various thyroid diseases.
