Summary

The problems of fronto-ethmoidal osteomata have been reviewed. Four cases are presented where these lesions extending beyond the confines of the frontal sinus into the anterior cranial fossa or the orbit caused neurological manifestations and complications. The best surgical management is by an osteoplastic frontal craniotomy which affords excellent exposure, control of the osteoma and good cosmetic results.
