Zusammenfassung
Bei 10 neurochirurgischen Patienten wurden kontinuierlich Liquor- und Serumspiegel nach intravenöser Gabe eines Cefalosporinderivates Cefazolin (4 Fälle) und eines neuen Alpha-Aminoglykosidantibiotikums Sisomicin (6 Fälle) bestimmt. Nach Auswertung der Ergebnisse muß der Wert dieser beiden Antibiotika für die Meningitisbehandlung bzw. perioperative neurochirurgische Chemoprophylaxe bezweifelt werden. Die gefundenen Werte werden mit den aus der Literatur bekannten bei den Cefalosporinen und dem Alpha-Aminoglykosid Gentamycin verglichen.
Summary
In ten patients continuous estimations of the C.S.F. and serum levels were performed after the administration of a Cephalosporin derivative (Cefazolin - 4 cases) and a new alpha-amino-glycoside antibiotic (Sisomicin - 6 cases). After the evaluation of the results some doubts must be cast on the value of both these antibiotics for the treatment of meningitis or for per-operative chemo-prophylaxis in neurosurgical procedures. The values found were compared with those well-known in the literature, regarding the cephalo sporins and the alpha-amino-glycoside Gentamycin.
