A new prenylated flavanone, Edikinone, from Millettia duchesnei De Wild. (Leguminosae)

A new prenylated flavanone, edikinone (1), has been isolated from the twigs of Millettia duchesnei De Wild. [1] along with thirteen known compounds, including seven rotenoids. The chemotaxonomical implications of the flavonoids content are discussed.
