The Guest Editors of this issue of Seminars in Neurology are Drs. Lama Abdel Wahed and Tracey Cho.

Dr. Abdel Wahed is Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Roy Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa. She graduated from medical school at Damascus University in Syria, after which she completed a Neurology Residency and Neuroimmunology and Neuroinfectious Disease Fellowship at the University of Iowa as well. She currently serves as the Associate Program Director of the Neurology Residency at Iowa and has received numerous teaching and patient care awards. Dr. Abdel Wahed has published in the realms of neurosarcoidosis, neuro-Behcet syndrome, immune-mediated myelopathies, and imaging of autoimmune, paraneoplastic, and neurorheumatologic disorders. She is also leading an effort to develop educational workshops for point-of-care ultrasound in bedside lumbar punctures. She is a rising star in the field of neuroimmunology and neuro-ID and is quickly establishing herself as an outstanding educator in our field.

Dr. Cho is Clinical Professor of Neurology at the University of Iowa, where he also serves as Associate Dean for GME Leadership and Development and Director of the Neuroimmunology Division. He received his BA as well as a Master's degree in the History of Science from Harvard University. He then received his MD from Yale University prior to returning to Harvard for his internship in medicine and residency in neurology. He then did a fellowship in Advanced General Neurology with a specialization in Autoimmune and Infectious Neurology. He served as the Residency Program Director in the Partners Neurology Program at Harvard, prior to moving to Iowa in 2018. He is a nationally recognized educator, having received innumerable teaching awards, including A.B. Baker Award from the American Academy of Neurology. His research has run the gamut in neurology, with important contributions in multiple sclerosis, SLE-related neurological disease, neurosarcoidosis, neuro-immune complications of immune checkpoint inhibitors, and vessel wall imaging in neuroinflammatory disease to name a few. He has also made important contributions in the neurology educational literature, most recently around curriculum innovations in residency education. He is a world expert in neuro-rheumatology, an underappreciated but increasingly prevalent field. He has mentored hundreds of students, residents, fellows, and faculty, and is one of neurology's very best.

We greatly appreciate the efforts of Drs. Abdel Wahed and Cho, as well as all of the contributing authors, for their wonderful work in this issue of Seminars. Neuroimaging is one of the most cherished tools of the neurologist, and the field is moving forward at an incredible pace. This update is timely, insightful, and impactful, and covers a breadth of diseases in our field. I would like to personally thank Drs. Abdel Wahed and Cho for their dedication to making this a very fine issue—their attention to detail and choice of expert authors guaranteed a marvelous product for our readers.
