Akuter Schwindel

Schwindelerkrankungen sind mit einer Lebenszeitprävalenz von ca. 8% häufig [1].
Unterschieden werden ein unsystematischer Schwindel („Leere im Kopf“, „allgemeines Benommenheitsgefühl“, „Wattigkeit“, präsynkopale Zustände, allgemeine körperliche Schwäche) und ein systematischer Schwindel (Dreh-, Lift- oder Schwankschwindel, aber auch Stand- und Gangunsicherheit) [2].
Schwindel ist ein Symptom und wird durch vielfältige Ursachen hervorgerufen.
