Erleiden Kinder während der sensiblen Phase der Hörbahnreifung fluktuierende Schallleitungsstörungen, kann es zur Deprivation des zentralen Hörsystems und infolgedessen zu einer erheblichen Beeinträchtigung der Sprachentwicklung kommen. Anhand der Case Reporting Guidelines wird ein Junge ohne Komorbiditäten mit Erkrankungsbeginn im 11. LM und Verlust von 3 Jahreshörbilanzen vorgestellt.
Abstract
Children, who suffer from secretory otitis media during the maturation of the auditory pathways, can develop deprivation of the central auditory system and thus a significant impairment of speech. Based on the case reporting guidelines, a boy without comorbidities, with onset of illness in the 11th LM and loss of three annual hearing balances is presented.
