Einsatz von Gewebeklebern in der gastrointestinalen Endoskopie

Einleitung

Sogenannte Gewebekleber werden in der gastrointestinalen Endoskopie überwiegend zur Therapie von Fundus- und Ösophagusvarizen eingesetzt. Sie finden in seltenen Fällen aber auch Verwendung beim endoskopischen Fistelverschluss oder der Therapie der Ulkusblutung. Die unterschiedlichen Präparate gehören zur Gruppe der Cyanoacrylate und sind Derivate des n-Butyl Cyanoacrylat (NBCA). In Deutschland werden vorwiegend die Wirkstoffe n-Butyl-2-Cyanoacrylat (Histoacryl, B Braun SE, Melsungen, Deutschland) sowie ein Gemisch dieses Cyanoacrylat-Derivats mit einem synthetischen Monomer (Glubran2, GEM Srl, Viareggio, Italien) eingesetzt. Im Folgenden sollen die Indikationen, die praktische Anwendung der Substanzen in der Endoskopie, sowie potenzielle Risiken und Nebenwirkungen erläutert und dargestellt werden.
