Hase und Igel: Koevolutionäre Entwicklung von Antibiotikaresistenz

Dieser Beitrag beleuchtet Hintergründe der Antibiotikaresistenzentwicklung und trägt damit zum Verständnis der Empfehlungen zur Verhinderung der Ausbreitung resistenter bakterieller Infektionserreger und der Richtlinien für den Antibiotikaeinsatz bei. Er unterstreicht die Notwendigkeit einer ganzheitlichen Betrachtung und verdeutlicht die Wichtigkeit der sektorübergreifenden Zusammenarbeit (Humanmedizin, Veterinärmedizin, Umwelt).
