Digitalisierung in Kindergarten und Grundschule schadet der Entwicklung, Gesundheit und Bildung von Kindern

Kommentar zum Gutachten der Ständigen Wissenschaftlichen Kommission der KMK vom 19.9.2022

Die Ständige Wissenschaftliche Kommission (SWK) hat am 19.9.2022 gemeinsam mit der Kultusministerkonferenz[ 1 ] (KMK) ihr Gutachten Digitalisierung im Bildungssystem: Handlungsempfehlungen von der Kita bis zur Hochschule vorgestellt. In dem 189-seitigen Papier fordern die Autoren gleich zu Beginn „Elementarinformatik“ für Kitas und Grundschulen [117]. In diesen Einrichtungen sei die „frühe digitale Medienbildung […] unterentwickelt“ [117], woraus die Autoren „Handlungsbedarfe“ ableiten. Was ist von der Idee zu halten? Sollen unsere Kinder tatsächlich bereits in der Kita am Computer Informatik lernen? 16 Länderkultusminister und 16 Professoren können sich doch nicht irren. – Oder doch?
