Leonardo Frazzoni et al. Endoscopistsʼ diagnostic accuracy in detecting upper gastrointestinal neoplasia in the framework of artificial intelligence studies

This systematic review addressed miss rates for upper gastrointestinal neoplasia (UGIN) using the framework of artificial intelligence validation studies. Authors reported an endoscopist sensitivity of 82% for UGIN with a higher accuracy for gastric cancer compared with squamous cell neoplasia and Barrett esophagus-related neoplasia.
