DEGEA-Positionspapier: Verwendung von Entschäumer in der gastroenterologischen Endoskopie

Bei endoskopischen Eingriffen am oberen und unteren Gastrointestinaltrakt können Sekrete mit schaumartiger Blasenbildung die Beurteilung der Mukosa und somit die Identifikation von Veränderungen erschweren. Um die störenden Sekretblasen aufzulösen und zu beseitigen, werden Entschäumer in Spüllösungen beigemischt oder dem Patienten vor Beginn eines Eingriffs oral verabreicht.
