Ob in der Erstlinientherapie des fortgeschrittenen Melanoms – bei Vorliegen einer BRAF-Mutation – lieber eine Immuntherapie oder eine zielgerichtete Therapie eingesetzt werden sollte, wird kontrovers diskutiert. Beim 30. Deutschen Hautkrebskongress wurde Ende 2020 die Datenlage zu diesen Themen aufgegriffen und Argumente für die einzelnen Vorgehensweisen ausgetauscht.
