Zusammenfassung
Die Kenntnis der Anatomie des venösen Systems ist die Basis für unser klinisches Tun
in der Phlebologie, gerade im Hinblick auf eine gute Diagnostik und Therapie bei tiefer
Beinvenenthrombose und auch für die Wahl der adäquaten Therapie bei Krankheiten des
oberflächlichen Venensystems.
Die Nomenklatur der tiefen Beinvenen hat sich über die Jahre geändert. Damit wir in
der phlebologischen Welt international „eine Sprache sprechen“, folgt hier eine Zusammenstellung
und Darstellung der Anatomie der tiefen Beinvenen und deren Bezeichnung aus der Literatur
(im Wesentlichen aus dem UIP-Konsensus-Dokument zur venösen anatomischen Terminologie).
Abstract
The anatomy of the venous system is the basis of our clinical phlebological every
day work, especially thinking of a good diagnostic and therapy in terms of the deep
vein thrombosis and thinking of the therapy of various diseases of the superficial
venous system.
The nomenclature of the deep vein systems changed over the years with the idea of
speaking the “same language” in the phlebological world. Therefore in succession the
reader finds a subsumption and presentation of the anatomy of the deep veins and their
nomenclature on basis of the literature. (essentially from the UIP consensus document
