Implantationsassoziierte Nervschädigungen

Dank wissenschaftlicher und technischer Fortschritte sowie der Fortbildungsbereitschaft der Behandler ist in den letzten Jahren das Risiko für Nervverletzungen im Rahmen einer Implantation gesunken. Es passiert trotzdem: Manchmal ist die Leitungsanästhesie im Unterkiefer „schuld“, manchmal die Anatomie von Knochen und Weichgeweben, manchmal eine zu tiefe Bohrung. Und was dann? Dieser Beitrag stellt einen praxisnahen Algorithmus vor.
