Einleitung

Die Nierentransplantation stellt nicht nur die Standardtherapie zur Verbesserung der Lebensqualität bei fortgeschrittener Niereninsuffizienz mit Dialysepflichtigkeit dar, sondern bringt auch einen signifikanten Überlebensvorteil. Trotz zahlreicher Fortschritte im operativen Vorgehen sind postoperative Komplikationen weiterhin nicht zu vernachlässigen. Eine der häufigsten Komplikation stellen dabei symptomatische Lymphozelen in 1–26 % der Fälle [Mehrabi A et al. Br J Surg 2020; 107: 801–811] nach Implantation der Transplantatniere in die Fossa iliaca dar.
