Handgelenkarthroskopie
Wrist arthroscopy
ABSTRACT
Over the last decades wrist arthroscopy became more powerful triggered by new technologies and surgical procedures. Nowadays arthroscopic carpal synovectomy, removal of free bodies and wrist ganglia as well as arthroscopic assisted osteosynthesis of distal radius fractures and carpal fusions are well defined surgical procedures for carpal pathologies. Most of these procedures can be performed in out-patient settings, which is more cost effective, than traditional open procedures.
