Kraftvolle Rotoren – Schulterinstabilität

Eine mangelnde Stabilität des Schultergelenks kann strukturell durch eine Kapsel-Band-Laxität auf-treten oder funktionell sein. Dann kann der Patient das Gelenk innerhalb der neutralen Zone nicht kontrollieren. In beiden Fällen zeigt der Humeruskopf zu große Translationsbewegungen. Während oberflächliche Muskeln wie der M. deltoideus und der M. pectoralis major diese Bewegungen begünstigen, kann die Rotatorenmanschette sie kontrollieren. Übungen hierfür sind daher das Mittel der Wahl.
