Energiemangel kann zu einem leistungslimitierenden Faktor werden. Daneben drohen zahlreiche gesundheitliche Probleme. Deshalb ist es wichtig, die Energiebilanz von ambitionierten Hobby- und Leistungssportlern genau im Blick zu haben.
