Eine eingeschränkte Schulterbeweglichkeit kann mit verschiedenen Schulterproblematiken wie einem subakromialen Impingement, einem internalen Impingement oder einer SLAP-Läsion einhergehen [1], [2]. Überkopfsportler sind beispielsweise häufig in ihrer glenohumeralen Innenrotation (GIRD) auf der dominanten Seite eingeschränkt. Man vermutet, dass die posteriore Kapsel oder der posteriore Schultersehnenkomplex weniger dehnbar oder die humerale Retroversion erhöht ist. Therapeutisch empfehlen bisherige Studien Dehnungen (Cross-body-Stretching) [3], [4] und Mobilisationen [5].
