Die Osteoporose im Kontext der muskuloskeletalen Begutachtung

Zusammenfassung

Die Osteoporose ist aufgrund ihrer hohen Prävalenz und ihren z. T. schwerwiegenden medizinischen Folgen von höchster sozioökonomischer Bedeutung. Sachverständige sind mit ihr in den unterschiedlichsten Rechtsgebieten konfrontiert. Um das Erkrankungsbild korrekt in den jeweiligen Rechtsrahmen einordnen zu können, bedarf es aktueller Kenntnisse darüber. Im Vordergrund stehen notwendige Klassifikationen sowie wissenschaftlich ermittelte Erkenntnisse zu Frakturen und Frakturheilung. Diese können durch strukturiertes Vorgehen helfen, Fragen nach Prävention, Erwerbsminderung, Arbeitsunfähigkeit, Zusammenhangsbeurteilungen oder Einschränkungen gemäß dem Sozialen Entschädigungsrecht oder Schwerbehindertenrecht vorzunehmen.
