Lebendorganspende in Deutschland: Voraussetzungen und Durchführung

Die Wartezeit auf ein Spenderorgan eines Verstorbenen ist in Deutschland unverhältnismäßig hoch. Die Lebendspende stellt sowohl für die Leber- als auch für die Nierentransplantation eine Alternative dar. Die Anforderungen an die Auswahl der Spender und die Umsetzung der Spende sind aber hoch. In diesem Artikel werden die Voraussetzungen für eine Lebendorganspende dargestellt und ein Überblick über die Möglichkeiten der Spenderoperation gegeben.

Kernaussagen
  • Die Lebend-Organspende ist in Deutschland im TPG geregelt.

  • Sie ist zulässig unter Verwandten und Personen die sich offenkundig nahestehen unter der Bedingung, dass kein passendes Organ eines Verstorbenen zur Verfügung steht.

  • Die Lebend-Organspende erfordert eine gründliche Anamnese und Evaluation des Spenders, da der Spender nicht über das Operationsrisiko hinaus gefährdet werden darf.

  • Die Aufklärung für eine Lebend-Organspende muss besonders gründlich erfolgen und spezifisch Risiken des Spenders und Empfängers einschließen, da es sich für den Spender nicht um einen Heileingriff handelt. Die Aufklärung muss in Anwesenheit eines zweiten Arztes erfolgen.

  • Der Spender muss an einer strukturierten Nachsorge teilnehmen. Follow-up-Daten müssen zur Qualitätssicherung gemeldet werden.

  • Die Organentnahme sollte durch erfahrene Chirurginnen bzw. Chirurgen erfolgen. Auf die Sicherheit des Spenders bzw. der Spenderin sollte ebenso Wert gelegt werden, wie auf eine möglichst geringe Belastung durch den Eingriff.
