Einleitung
Bei etwa 20 – 25% der Patienten mit kolorektalem Karzinom finden sich zum Diagnosezeitpunkt bereits Lebermetastasen. Die Frage nach der Modalität und Sequenz einer onkologisch sinnvollen, risikoarmen, aber effektiven Behandlung ist nicht leicht zu beantworten. Das Ziel sollte sein, den betroffenen Patienten die Möglichkeit eines kurativen Konzepts nicht vorzuenthalten.
