Zusammenfassung

Durch eine repetitive transkranielle Magnetstimulation (rTMS) lässt sich die Erregbarkeit des Gehirns sehr gezielt (fokal) nichtinvasiv erhöhen oder absenken, womit die Funktionserholung nach Schlaganfall unterstützt werden kann. Den stabilsten Wirksamkeitsnachweis gibt es für die Armfunktion. Wie die Evidenzlage bei Depressionen nach Schlaganfall, bei Dysphagie, Ganggeschwindigkeit, Aphasie, Neglect und weiteren funktionellen Defiziten nach Schlaganfall aussieht, beschreibt der folgende Artikel.
