Summary

Ratanhia ist zum Beispiel bei Entzündungen im Mundraum, bei Hämorrhoiden und bei Durchfällen ein geschätztes Mittel. Ein spanischer Botaniker hat die Pflanze wurde im heutigen Peru entdeckt, wo sie vor allem als Zahnerhaltungsmittel verwendet wurde. Die Pflanze ist ein Halbschmarotzer und bildet weitläufige Wurzeln aus. Diese werden therapeutisch verwendet.
