Der Begriff „integrative Medizin“ ist seit Mitte der 1980er-Jahre gebräuchlich, aber erst seit Anfang dieses Jahrhunderts wird er auch im onkologischen Bereich angewendet. Dieser Beitrag gibt eine Übersicht zu den Fakten und stellt ein exemplarisches Konzept für eine sinnvolle Anwendung vor.
