Antibiotika in der Zahnmedizin

Antiinfektiva sind ein integraler Bestandteil der Zahnmedizin und deren Einsatz hat weitreichende Implikationen für den individuellen Patienten. Allerdings müssen Public-Health-Aspekte ebenfalls berücksichtigt werden. Die Resistenzentwicklung ist hier von besonderem Interesse, denn die meisten Verordnungen erfolgen ohne Bakterienkultur empirisch und das oft mit Breitspektrumantibiotika.
