Ein 5-jähriger männlich-kastrierter Europäisch-Kurzhaar-Kater wurde aufgrund von Apathie und seit 3 Wochen bestehender Krusten und Alopezie am Kopf vorgestellt. Die klinische Untersuchung ergab eine symmetrische, krustige, erythematöse und hyperkeratotische Dermatitis mit Alopezie an Nasenrücken, dorsalem Kopf, Pinnae und Augenlidern ([Abb. 1]). Die Rektaltemperatur betrug 39,5 °C.
