Abstract

The syndrome of irritable bowel disease and its conventional treatment is reviewed. The contribution of homoeopathy in the treatment of this condition is discussed and a retrospective survey of 25 patients with irritable bowel disease treated with homoeopathy is presented. Some illustrative case histories are given.
