Abstract

The therapeutic approach required in patients with troublesome tinnitus that is associated with otologic disease is rather different to that for those in whom no pathology can be identified. In this chapter, we consider this issue, using worked examples of Meniere’s disease, vestibular schwannoma, sudden sensorineural hearing loss, and middle ear myoclonus. The need for a multidisciplinary team approach is described.
