Abstract

The isolation of quinoline alkaloids, indole alkaloids and anthraquinones present in callus cultures initiated from different parts of Cinchona ledgeriana plants is described.

From leaves of C. ledgeriana a new minor alkaloid was isolated and identified as 10-methoxycinchonamine.
