Der in diesem Artikel vorgestellte Auszug aus einer Studie zeigt, dass das Verständnis
für ganzheitliche Pflege im untersuchten Dialysezentrum teilweise mehr intuitiv als
theoretisch vorhanden ist. Die Tatsache, dass nur die knappe Mehrheit der befragten
Pflegenden eindeutig im Rahmen der Schulausbildung mit der Idee der Ganzheitlichkeit
konfrontiert wurde, deutet auf deren Offenheit und Entwicklungspotenzial hin. Es ist
die Umsetzung der Idee in die Praxis, die Schwierigkeiten bereitet. Die Pflege im
Zentrum wird weitestgehend den individuellen Bedürfnissen des Patienten und entsprechend
der jeweiligen pflegerischen Situation angepasst. Die Beziehungsseite des Patienten
wird in der Pflege stark berücksichtigt. Zu bemängeln ist, dass sich die Pflege v. a.
auf die körperlich-seelische und weniger auf die geistig-spirituelle Ebene des Menschen
konzentriert. Etwas ambivalent ist auch zu verstehen, dass man zwar die Individualität
und die Würde des Menschen als führende Prioritäten erachtet und dem Wohlergehen des
Patienten im Zentrum einen hohen Stellenwert einräumt, jedoch trotzdem zwischen schwierigen
und angenehmen Patienten unterschieden wird, was der Idee der Ganzheitlichkeit widerspricht.
Positiv ist die reife Sicht der Pflegenden auf sich selbst, die sich durch Verantwortung
und Ehrlichkeit sich selbst gegenüber auszeichnet. Ebenfalls indiskutabel ist auch
die Rolle des multidisziplinären Teams in der heutigen Pflege. Nicht nur das Verständnis
hierfür ist vorhanden, auch die Umsetzung überzeugt. Die positive Bewertung der Teamarbeit
durch die Mitarbeiter ist eindeutig. Die befragten Pflegenden verstehen sich als Anwalt
des Patienten, indem sie dessen Interessen wahren und Verantwortung für das eigene
Tun und Handeln übernehmen. Dies deutet auf eine hohe personale und berufliche Reife
der befragten Pflegenden hin. Die Pflegenden verbinden die Zukunft der Pflege mit
pflegewissenschaftlicher Entwicklung. Sie bilden sich und nutzen das erworbene Wissen
im Pflegealltag. Allerdings müsste die unterstützende und begleitende Pflege noch
mehr Platz im pflegerischen Alltag einnehmen sowie die Angehörigen in die Beratung
und in die Pflege verstärkt miteinbezogen werden. Insgesamt wird im untersuchten Zentrum
eine gute bis professionelle und verantwortliche Pflege geleistet. Dennoch kann, unter
Einbeziehung aller Aspekte der ganzheitlichen Pflege nach Juchli, nicht eindeutig
resümiert werden, dass im untersuchten Dialysezentrum ganzheitlich gepflegt wird.
Das Potenzial hierfür ist jedoch erkennbar vorhanden.
The extract of a study presented in this article shows that the comprehension for
integrated care is available partly rather intuitively than theoretically in the examined
dialysis center. The fact that only a scarce majority of the interviewed nurses were
clearly confronted with the idea of integrated care during their school education
points to their openness and potential for development. The transfer of the idea into
practice causes difficulties. In-center care is adapted to individual needs and to
the situation of the nurses as far as possible. The relationship factor of patients
is considered strongly in care. It can be criticized that care concentrates mostly
on physical needs and less on mental or spiritual needs. Ambivalently, individualism
and dignity of man are ranked highly (as well as addressing the patient’s well-being
a high value), but at the same time patients are divided into “difficult” and “comfortable”
which contradicts the idea of integrated care. Positive is the mature view of nurses
on themselves that presents itself via responsibility and honesty towards themselves.
Out of the question is the role of the multidisciplinary team in current care. Not
only the understanding for it exists, also the implementation convinces. The positive
rating of team work by the interviewed staff is clear-cut. A nurse can be seen as
the advocate of the patient by protecting his interests and taking responsibility
for her actions. This suggests a high personal and professional maturity of the questioned
nurses. The interviewed nurses associate the future of care with a more scientific-based
nursing. They educate themselves and use the acquired knowledge in everyday care.
However, supporting and accompanying care should take more space in daily nursing,
as well as incorporating next of kin more into counseling and care. Overall, good
to professional and responsible care can be found in the studied dialysis center.
Though, involving all aspects of integrated care according to Juchli, it can not distinctly
be concluded that there is integrated care in the investigated dialysis center. But
the potential for it is visibly there.
