Abstract

The investigation of three Centaurea species collected in Argentina afforded, in addition to several known sesquiterpene lactones, a new guaianolide, a germacranolide, and two bisabolone derivatives. The structures were elucidated by highfield ¹H-NMR spectroscopy.
