Die Mehrzahl der Frakturen des Os metacarpale 5-Frakturen wird konservativ, ohne Operation, behandelt. In der vorgestellten prospektiven, randomisierten Multicenterstudie wurde das Outcome nach elastischer Wicklung/buddy taping mit dem Behandlungsergebnis im Vergleich zur Reposition/Castanlage untersucht.
