Abstract

The cyanogenic glucosides present in Andrachne colchica Fisch, et Mey. and Securinega suffruticosa (Pall.) Rehder (Euphorbiaceae) were isolated and identified with triglochinin. Cyanogenesis in Euphorbiaceae is briefly surveyed. Special attention is paid to the systematic meaning of this character.2
